The currency of Dubai is Arab Emirates Dirham or Emirati Dirham. Currently, 1 Emirati Dirham is equal to 20.05 Indian Rupees. You can exchange your Indian currency at Al Ansari Exchange, Western Union, Al Rostamani International Exchange, or UAE Exchange.

ATMs are a great option to get exchanged currency in Dubai. You will find an ATM almost everywhere in Dubai like at a mall, at the airport, at metro stations, or on the streets. All foreign and Indian banks have their ATMs in Dubai as there are more digital transactions here than cash. Before your visit please do check if your local bank has an ATM in Dubai. Withdrawing cash using your bank’s ATM instead of some other bank will minimize your ATM fees.
