Singapore or officially-the republic of Singapore is recognised for having a luster of wealth. However, in reality, it is a place where you can find the perfect amalgamation of history, culture, culinary excellence, a fast-paced lifestyle, and religious diversity. With all these features, this somewhat futuristic city is one of Asia’s prime tourist locations at this moment.

Here, we will discuss a tour plan to this beautiful city from India, the best places to visit here, the budget, how to reach there, the best time to visit there, and how to book your package online from India.

How to Reach Singapore

There are regular flight services available from all major Indian airports. But from Delhi airport, you will get direct flight services to Singapore Changi airport without any in between stops. The flight time will be around 8 hours 40 mins. Generally, the flight fare to Singapore varies between Rs18000 to Rs23000 approximately. The fare is increased during Christmas and New Year.

Best Time to Visit

You can visit Singapore throughout the year, however, the best time to visit here is from December to June.

Day-1

On day-1 of your tour 1st go to your destination from the airport. You will easily get local taxis to reach any part of the city.

At night go for a Night Safari in Singapore which is a one-of it’s kind safaris and is a must-visit while you are in Singapore. The safari is open from 7.15 Pm to 12 midnight and the ticket price here is approximately SGD 47 per adult, SGD 31 per child 3 to 12 years of age group, and SGD 20 per senior citizen. The ticket price will include the entry fee to the park, an English speaking tour guide, Tram ride cost inside the park, and the tickets for watching the shows.

This safari includes over 2500 animals from more than 130 species. The entire zone is divided into 7 geographical locations which you can cover on foot or you can take a tram ride. Other than watching the animals you can enjoy Thumbaukar Performances- a traditional performance showing fire twirling skills and Creatures of the Night Show.

Day-2

On the 2nd day of your tour go for a local sightseeing tour in Singapore city.

Start your tour by visiting Marina Bay Sands. It is a luxury resort complex and is home to the world’s largest infinity pool and atrium casino. Another attraction here is the shopping mall of this complex. 

From here take a tour to the nearby Art Science museum. The place is open from 10 am to 7 pm

Next, see the Marina Bay Sand Skypark observation Deck from where you can get a beautiful view of the entire city. 

From here go to visit one of the prime attractions of Singapore Garden by the Bay. It is a futuristic botanical garden that is spread across 101 hectares of land and is an award-winning horticulture spot. The place houses several species of trees that are organized to form a vertical garden. The garden is divided into 3 major parts Bay South, Bay East, and Bay Central. The outdoor garden is open all days from 5 am to 2 am and the entry is free here. The supertree observatory is open from 4 pm to 10pm daily and the entry fee here is $14 per adult and $10 per child. The OCBC Skyway is open from 9am to 9 Pm daily; the entry fee is $8 per adult and $5 per child. All valid ticket holders can get a shuttle service here for $3. Next visit the beautiful locations Helix Bridge connecting Marina Central to Marina South and after it go to see the beautiful Merlion Park.

After Merlion Park enjoy a ride to the famous Singapore flyer. It is the tallest ferries wheel in Asia including 28 air-conditioned capsules. You can get spectacular views of the city from a height of 165 meters. The place is open from 8.30am to 10.30 Pm daily. The entry fee is around Rs3400. 

Other than these places you can also visit some other places within the city like: 

Little India- Which is a hub of the Indian community in Singapore. The place is famous for its vibrant culture and mouth-watering street food. 

China Town- At this place, you will find authentic Chinese food and culture. At this place visit the beautiful Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. This popular Buddhist shrine is famous for storing the left canine tooth of Lord Buddha. 

Orchard Road- the main shopping street in Singapore. 

On this day you may visit Sentosa Island, which is off the southern coast of Singapore. It is a place where you can see some beautiful places and can enjoy beach activities. Two major places you will visit here are Siloso Beach and the famous underwater aquarium where you can enjoy swimming with dolphins. 

Day-3

On the 3rd day take a tour of the Universal Studio in Singapore and enjoy some adventure as well as fun activities in this theme Park. This park has 24 major rides along with 7 themed zones providing entertainment for all adults as well as children.

The timings are:

Monday – Thursday: 10 am – 7 pm

 Friday – Saturday: 10am – 10pm

  Sunday : 10am – 8pm

The entry fee is around Rs3500 per person. 

Day-4

On day4 head back to the airport for departure. 

The Budget

A typical 4-5 days Singapore tour package will cost approximately Rs25000 to 35000 per head. This package cost generally includes local transport, meals, and accommodation. Flight fare and entry fees to the tourist places are not included here.  All major tour package providers in India provides Singapore tour which is quite good and have online booking facilities.
