Kolkata – Through the eyes of a poet

If I am going out of the city on a trip, it makes me excited. But coming back makes me super excited. Kolkata is my home city. I was born here . The air I breathe in is so familiar to my lungs. I suffer from nostalgia… I guess we all do.

Though I have lived  here for a long time, still I feel I have so much to know, so many places I have not seen yet.

I had the privilege of editing a documentary film on Sukanta Bhattacharya, the famous poet from Bengal. His letter to his friend Arunachal Basu vents his love and anguish for Kolkata.
