Today I am going to share the recipe for a coffee-flavoured chocolate cupcake that is mocha cupcakes. It is easy to make and super-tasty. Most importantly it takes around 35 to 40 minutes in all to make it.

Makes: 7-8 cupcakes
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Baking time: 15-20 minutes
Coffee Powder: 2tbsp
Caster Sugar: 85 gms / 3/8th cup
Plain flour: 225gms/ 1cup
Cocoa Powder: 2tbsp
Baking Soda: 1tsp
Egg (lightly beaten): 1
Put the coffee powder, butter, sugar, honey, and water in a saucepan.
Heat gently stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Bring it to a boil. Then reduce the temperature and simmer the mixture for 5 minutes. Turn off the flame. Pour the mixture into a large bowl and keep aside. Let it cool completely. It will look like this:
When the mixture cools completely, sift in the flour and cocoa powder. Mix it until smooth.
Dissolve the baking soda in the milk, then add it to the mixture.
Mix in the beaten egg. Beat together until smooth.
Cake batter is ready.
Spoon the mixture into cupcake moulds.
Bake at 180-degree centigrade for 15-20minutes.
