It is the most famous floating hotel in India and is a precious property of the Taj group situated on the serene waters of Lake Pichola. It is also one of the luxurious hotels that have hosted some world famous people. It was the venue of the shooting of Octopussy in 1983 starring Roger Moore.

The hotel covered 4 acres area and it has 83 suites for guests to relax in by the lily pond.
